ABOUT RJ HARRISON TAX SERVICES, INC.
RJ Harrison Tax Services, Inc. has been located in Valparaiso, Indiana since January of 1995. RJ Harrison is a seasoned tax professional with 30 years of experience working with the state and the IRS. He studied two years of accounting at Ivy Tech and completed a tax class in 1984. He also attends annual tax law update seminars at Valparaiso University, sponsored by Purdue University. He started his accounting career at Lakepoint Tower in Chicago working as a tax accountant for a company called American Invsco, a national real estate company. From there, he then went on to work at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for another company called GSL Commodities.
After years of experience working for large companies in Chicago, RJ decided he wanted to open his own accounting firm more locally. That was when RJ Harrison Tax Services was incorporated. Since 1995, he has been helping individuals and local businesses in Porter County and Lake County with tax preparation and other accounting services.
